For cafés and restaurants

If you are running a café or a restaurant, Bluestore gives you the ability to enter the table number and number of covers, park the sale and retrieve it each time you want to add items to the bill.

Add an item note for eg Steak, medium rare, extra chips!

You can also add a whole transaction note eg Starters at the same time as mains.

Select the parked sale and print it to the second printer in the kitchen for the chef. When the customer is ready to pay, you select the parked sale and print a bill for the customer. You then take the payment against the sale to complete it.

In order to enable this functionality, you'll first need to login to your terminal as a manager.

Enable the buttons

In your terminal, go to Tools/Preferences - under Sales:

Button for table number - change option and set to yes.

Button for number of covers - change option and set to yes.

Button for item note - change option and set to yes.

Button for transaction note - change option and set to yes. Save and exit.

Enable the second printer for the kitchen

In your terminal, go to Tools/Hardware Configuration - under Receipt printer 2:

Here's an example sale so you get the idea:

You take their order for 2 beers and then add their table number
