Refreshing the Local Database

Sometimes it can be necessary to completely refresh your POS data from the central server.

To remove and re-download local data from the server follow these steps:

Windows

1) Finish the current sales session, reconcile the drawer and close down the POS application.

2) Check the transaction journal report on your web console. Ensure the last sale and the reconciliation transactions appear on the report ok - this tells you that the transactions are all up to date.

3) Start 'Bluestore Live Settings' on the local machine. (go to start menu - all programs - bluestore live pos - bluestore live settings). Click 'refresh store data' on the settings popup.

4) Start the pos application again - it will re-sync all the data from the server. This could take a while to complete, depending on the speed of the machine and the number of products.

Once the data download and saving is complete, the user logon dialogue is displayed and you can log on as normal.
